This document summarizes the comparison of a character from the author's film opening to characters from two other films. The character from the author's film is an assassin played by Richard Anderson whose identity is kept secret. He is compared to Jason Bourne from The Bourne Supremacy, an assassin who worked for an organization and lost his memory, and Bob Lee Swagger from Shooter, a sniper who is framed for a killing and seeks revenge. Both characters are represented similarly as dangerous men who are framed or the villains.

Introduction This presentation will compare a key character from our final film opening I will then compare this character with anther similar character from a exciting film, I have decided to choose a character from a film that has the genre or very similar one because that way I would be able analyse them in more detail as the genre is the same, which means that the types characters may be easier to compare.

3. From our film opening I have decided to compare our assassin character film who is played by Richard Anderson. As the name of the assassin is unknown, we will just call him assassin. He is meant to try and represent a murderer who want kill the other character however as the audience we do not know why is trying to kill the other character. From the film opening we see that his identity is kept to minimum which shows he does not want to give away any identity so that he cant be traced as a suspect. The reason I have chosen to compare Richard with other characters from exciting films is because I feel that their would be more to compare because there is allot of similar characters that I know of and I feel that Rhys character would be hard to compare because I cant not think of any similar existing characters because as his character very distinctive it would hard to compare with anther person. 5. The Bourne supremacy is an action packed spy mystery thriller that was released in in July, and is the second film in the trilogy. The film is about the main character Jason Bourne regaining his memory from what he used to be which was an assassin who killed people, and worked for an organisation called Tredstone. the film is similar to our because it has the same type of genre and relates to our because it is quite a confusing film in the way that it is hard to know what's is going on which is similar to ours. 6. Images of character being compared These are photos of the character that I am comparing with Richard form our film opening, the characters name is Jason Bourne . The image on the left show that he is some sort of agent or special force person because is holding a gun. The image on the right looks as if he is confused and unsure what he is doing.

7. I have decided to compare Jason Bourne because The way he Is represented in the Bourne films is very good and has some similarity to what our film. For example his is seen as an assign that is dangerous and needs to taken out, which I like because our film has an assign who is trying to kill anther character so they relate, even though Bourne is not the real he is still seen as the villain. 8. Shooter:Shooter is an action conspiracy thriller that was released in March 2007 and is about the main character Bob Lee Swagger who is a Sniper who is framed for killing the Archbishop of Ethiopia, and is out to seek revenge. The film is similar to our because it has the same type of genre and has allot of the same aspects such as there is a lot of killing that is going on in both films even though in ours there is no deaths you can see that there is likely to be a death, also the fact that both are represented as assigns or murders at some point because in ours he wants to kill the other person however it unsure whether he succeeds similar to Bob Lee is out to take revenge. 9. Images of character The images shown are of the second character that I am comparing with Richard as you can see form the images the character look like he is serious and likes guns. The image on left looks like he is preparing his gun to take care of somebody which links to Richard who is trying to do the same

I choose to compare Bob Lee Swagger form the film Shooter because I feel that his roles is similar in the way that he is represented because he is seen as the bad guy and is set up, similar to Jason Bourne who is also being framed as an assassin which links to our character Richard who plays the assassin. I also choose him because I like the way he represented to us. I also choose him because his role in the film is very similar to Richard’s role just from the short opening.
